Private Swim lessons
Summer swim lessons are a great way for kids to stay physically active, mentally engaged and meet new friends. Small group lessons are offered over 5 days or an 8 day session. Lessons are taught in backyard pools in the Shelby and Montague areas in the mornings and late afternoons. Registration for summer swim lessons begins in March and registration stays open throughout the summer.

Private swim lessons are offered year-round in backyard pools and at local indoor facilities. Private or semi-private lessons offer individualized attention to skill and safety. Techniques are adapted to meet the unique needs of swimmers. Parents can schedule 1 or 2 lessons per week for four weeks. Registration opens in August for fall le

West Michigan Aquatics offers a variety of swim classes to meet the needs of ALL swimmers. Adaptive swim lessons are available to help individuals with special needs learn to swim and be safe around water. West Michigan Aquatics offers a variety of swim classes to meet the needs of ALL swimmers. Adaptive swim lessons are available to help individuals with special needs learn to swim and be safe around water. Red Cross Learn-to-Swim small group classes are offered from parent - child classes to preschool aquatics and through level 6. In addition, a junior lifeguarding class is offered to children between the ages of 11 - 14. Adult swim lessons are offered as well.

Swim Whisperers Program Description
The multi-level Swim Whisperers Certification Program teaches swim instructors the strategies needed to overcome the underlying challenges faced by their swimmers. This advanced adaptive aquatics training empowers instructors with the required tools to effectively teach swimmers with Anxiety, Trauma, Discomfort, Physical Difficulties, Sensory Issues, Motor Problems and Delays.
